Anand Rathi, Arbuthnot in pact to tap European markets.
Anand Rathiís arrangement with Arbuthnot Securities which will see the two leading firms working together in developing cross- border capability in institutional stock broking and investment banking, focussed on UK and European Markets.

In recent years, India & UK has become a natural ally in the trade & investment. The plethoras of cross border deals have provided impetus to bilateral trade & investments creating paradigm shift in the modus operandi of the business. The recent addition to this flamboyance is Anand Rathi entering into an arrangement with Arbuthnot Securities. The two firms will work together in developing cross- border capability in institutional stock broking and investment banking, focussed on UK and European Markets. The endeavour will help Indian Companies willing to raise money from UK Markets. This will also include the junior Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and through the issuance of GDRs and Convertible Bonds.

 

Arbuthnot securities had a long association with India and have been operating as a confirming house financing trade with India from Chennai based headquarters.

 

The tremendous knowledge acquired by Arbuthnot securities in relation to UK market helps the firm to identify various acquisition opportunities for Indian Companies who are willing to grow their businesses internationally and also advise them in relation to all aspects of intended transactions including negotiations of terms, structuring and fundraising.

 

Arbuthnot Securities is currently distributing and marketing Anand Rathiís institutional research in the UK and Europe under the joint Arbuthnot Securities/ Anand Rathiís. This is supported by analysts and various corporate road shows from India. Its main intention is to build strong secondary market presence in Indian equities in the UK and Europe, as well as platform for distribution of primary market transactions.
